But to many of us, it's so much more.

Photography has been a way for me to explore the world around me, to capture the moments and glimpses of my life and share them with others.   Seeing the first rays of sunrise from atop Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park, the lazy wanderings of a moose, the fishing fleet of New Bedford blanketed in fog - these images are not meant to collect dust in a album on a shelf, they are meant to be hung on walls, framed and stood on desks.  These are moments of wonder and enlightenment, of passion and escapism - they are meant to be shared.   The arts are often an indulgance left for the affluent and well-to-do - but I aim to change that by making fine art photography accessible to the public so that they can share in my moments and find some meaning in it as well.

Photography is my hobby and a passion.  Poised for almost any occasion with my Canon by my side, I set off for the main streets and back roads of New England.  I hope that you find the same glimmers of humor, hope or wonder in my images as I saw when I captured them.   Remember, life is a journey, not a destination - take a moment to see the world around you.
